Job Summary
To support program improvement and technical assistance projects in education, the remote-eligible Senior Managing Consultant will manage teams, oversee complex tasks, and develop solutions for clients' policy and operational challenges while contributing to the growth of the Education and Employment department.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with federal, state, and education clients to identify needs and develop solutions
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in implementing and advising on federal and state education policies and programs
- Aggregate, analyze, and present data to assess program performance and develop actionable recommendations for clients
Required qualifications:
- Ph.D. or equivalent in education, economics, public policy, sociology, statistics, or a related field
- Six or more years of professional experience in education research or program/policy support
- Current or recent experience as an education practitioner, such as a teacher or school administrator
- Significant experience working with state and local education agencies to achieve outcomes through partnerships and support
- Demonstrated expertise in improving educational outcomes in areas such as educator preparation, school improvement, or college readiness
