Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time Senior Managing Director, Advancement will design and execute comprehensive donor relations strategies, manage development operations, and partner with local fundraising teams to drive revenue growth in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and manage a team of specialists in planning and executing events, donor communications, and fundraising operations
• Set vision and direction for a best-in-class donor relations strategy to enhance long-term stewardship and revenue growth
• Partner with senior leaders to translate regional priorities into a cohesive development strategy aimed at increasing revenue year over year

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in development and fundraising contexts
• Deep expertise in donor cultivation and stewardship across various funding streams
• Proven track record of meeting ambitious revenue goals
• Experience in leading complex fundraising events, including galas and benefit dinners
• Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams and developing talent
