Senior Managing Director, Fundraising

Job Summary

Leading a team of fundraising professionals, the full-time Senior Managing Director, Emerging Markets will develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy, manage a portfolio of major donors, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize public and private revenue in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy to enhance existing funding streams and drive new donor acquisition
• Manage relationships with major donors and prospects, cultivating and deepening engagements to achieve ambitious fundraising goals
• Lead and mentor a team of fundraising professionals, providing coaching and strategic guidance to meet individual and team objectives

Required qualifications

• At least 10+ years of experience in development and fundraising with a proven track record of securing 5- and 6-figure gifts
• Bachelor's Degree
• Demonstrated success in managing a donor portfolio and exceeding fundraising goals
• Experience in fundraising within the Western USA states
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing fundraising teams
