Senior Manual QA Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Manual QA Engineer will ensure the reliability and integrity of systems within the Faro Health ecosystem by developing test strategies, executing test cases, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to create detailed, risk-based test plans and manual test cases for a complex SaaS platform
• Lead the execution of functional, regression, and integration test cases while documenting defects and providing testing summaries
• Utilize SQL for data validation and impact analysis of proposed software changes on platform performance and reliability

Required qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, particularly in fast-paced startup environments
• Proficiency in leveraging Generative AI and LLM tools for optimizing manual testing processes
• Extensive experience with cloud-native applications and multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Expert-level SQL skills for data validation and backend integrity testing
• Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and non-functional testing principles
