Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

Leading spacecraft manufacturing efforts, the full-time Senior Manufacturing Engineer will manage assembly and integration activities for multiple satellite configurations, ensuring adherence to engineering requirements and quality standards while working onsite in Louisville, CO with some remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Own execution of all spacecraft assembly and integration activities, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and production schedules
• Develop work instructions and manufacturing processes aimed at increasing yield and reducing cycle time
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances while partnering with engineering on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in spacecraft manufacturing or complex electro-mechanical systems in an aerospace environment
• Hands-on manufacturing and test experience
• Deep knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
• Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably Solidworks
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
