Senior Material Handler

Job Summary

Joining a climate-controlled, organized facility, the full-time Senior Material Handler will be responsible for accurately handling materials, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control, while adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pick work orders and sales orders using a wireless handheld terminal
• Perform quality checks on customer orders and participate in cycle counts
• Receive and put away incoming materials, adhering to safety and housekeeping policies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to communicate in basic English and perform basic math accurately
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repeated physical tasks
• Willingness to learn to use manual and powered material handling equipment
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification within 120 days of starting
