Senior Material Planner

Job Summary

To ensure uninterrupted material availability for high-volume kitting and production operations, the full-time remote Senior Material Planner will develop and execute material planning strategies, manage inventory levels, and drive cross-functional coordination among Supply Chain, Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material plans that align with production schedules and customer demand
• Coordinate material availability to ensure timely delivery of kits to production
• Leverage data analytics to optimize inventory performance and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in material planning, production planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory planning methodologies
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas
