Senior Mechanical Cost Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cost Manager (Mechanical).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop budget estimates through accurate quantity take-offs and scope review
• Build unit costs and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
• Evaluate change orders, assist in cost management processes, and implement risk and value management exercises

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• More than 7 years of experience in a related field post-undergraduate degree
• Working towards Professional Certification such as MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE, or equivalent
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of the construction industry and cost-estimating methods
• Understanding of cost management fundamentals and local market conditions
