Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Rotatable Plug Assembly Component Design Engineer-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Design reactor structures and components from requirements through final design
• Coordinate inputs and requirements from engineering and project teams for design solutions
• Perform scoping analysis and calculations for various design options

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of eight years of equipment/component design experience; relevant M.S. degree credited as two years of experience
• Working experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III
• Experience in design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
• Experience in finite element stress analysis and mechanical analysis methods, with emphasis on ANSYS
