Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, the position will focus on designing and developing aircraft heavy/primary structures using 3D parametric CAD and rapid prototyping, requiring 3-12+ years of mechanical design experience and advanced proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.

Key responsibilities

• Design aircraft heavy structure and primary structure modifications using 3D CAD
• Create and release engineering drawings, procedures, and technical documentation
• Support design validation through prototyping and engineering analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
• 3-12+ years of strong, applicable experience with primary structural design and modifications
• Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX for 3D modeling
• Strong working knowledge of Teamcenter for product data management, BOM creation, and revision control
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles for aircraft structures and components
