Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for the Data Center and Mission Critical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Selecting appropriate cooling systems based on specific data center requirements and conducting CFD analysis for optimization
• Implementing energy-efficient strategies and ensuring air quality through effective filtration and monitoring systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• Preferred bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering, or related field; master's degree is a plus
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute, TIA 942, and ANSI/BICSI 002
• Professional certifications related to HVAC engineering are advantageous; P.E. registration preferred
