Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for the Data Center and Mission Critical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers
• Select appropriate cooling systems and conduct CFD analysis for optimal airflow distribution
• Design HVAC systems with redundancy and fault tolerance to ensure continuous operation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• Preferred bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or HVAC engineering
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute and TIA 942
• Professional certifications in HVAC engineering are advantageous
