Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for the Data Center and Mission Critical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers
• Conduct internal and external Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to optimize airflow and cooling
• Design HVAC systems with redundancy and fault tolerance for continuous operation during equipment failure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• Preferred bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute and TIA 942
• Professional certifications related to HVAC engineering are advantageous
