Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

Collaborating within a team, the full-time Senior Mechanical Designer will take design and construction projects from concept to completion, focusing on designing building systems, performing engineering calculations, and producing construction documents in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design building systems and produce construction documents while ensuring high-quality work
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical documentation for projects
• Coordinate work across an integrated team of designers, architects, and engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education
• Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems, along with knowledge of construction techniques and building codes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience with restaurant, grocery, retail, healthcare, or similar projects is preferred
