Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to lead the design and specification of mechanical piping systems for advanced industrial HVAC and energy applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify piping systems for refrigerant, boiler, chiller, steam, and condensate applications
• Develop insulation strategies and layout gas piping and MAU drain systems
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with contractors to ensure quality installation and performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of piping systems design experience
• Strong background in HVAC piping and heat transfer systems
• In-depth knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and mechanical code standards
• Proven success in process air applications, including startup validation and troubleshooting
