Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design reactor structures and components from requirements through final design
• Coordinate inputs from Engineering and Project teams to produce design solutions
• Perform scoping analysis and calculations for design options

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of eight years of equipment/component design experience; relevant M.S. degree credited as two years of experience
• Working experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Experience in finite element stress analysis and mechanical analysis methods, with emphasis on ANSYS
