Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for the mechanical design and development of distribution transformers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical specifications and detailed designs for distribution transformers
• Perform mechanical calculations and verify component layouts to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues and support engineering changes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in design engineering of electrical distribution equipment, preferably in transformer manufacturing
• Proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools, including CAD and simulation software
• Strong understanding of distribution transformer design and relevant industry standards
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
