Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate input and requirements from engineering and project teams to develop mechanical design solutions
• Create 3D models of systems, structures, and components using CAD tools
• Conduct mechanical analyses and develop engineering drawings in compliance with ASME standards

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 6+ years of experience, or M.S. with 3+ years of experience
• EIT certification or PE license preferred
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Experience using mechanical analysis tools, preferably ANSYS
• Demonstrated success in delivering qualified hardware and documentation packages
