Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with a multi-discipline team to design, analyze, and evaluate mechanical systems for operating nuclear power plants and related projects, applying engineering principles and codes such as ASME and ANSI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop calculations and reports to document design and analysis results in accordance with ASME Section III code requirements
- Interface with engineers from other disciplines, including electrical and civil/structural
- Participate in project teams and customer/vendor meetings to present technical materials and justifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
- Engineering in Training (EIT) license; Professional Engineer license is a plus
- 5 to 10 years of engineering experience
- Experience in the power industry, particularly nuclear power plants, is a plus
