Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting hyperscale data center construction programs, the full-time Senior Data Center Mechanical Engineer will manage the design of new data center buildings, assist operations staff with engineering solutions, and streamline construction issue resolutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assist in the technical development of mechanical systems for hyperscale data centers
• Oversee A/E design consultants and conduct peer reviews of deliverables
• Analyze operational trends and provide recommendations for improving reliability and availability of critical infrastructure

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in data center construction
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and related products
• Solid understanding of large-scale data center mechanical infrastructure
• Experience coordinating scope with multiple trades in construction projects
