Senior Mechanical Engineer - WA Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Vessels).

Key Responsibilities

• Create design solutions for reactor structures and components with a focus on ASME Section III compliance
• Perform detailed design, analysis, and documentation for structural supports used in nuclear facilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements and resolve technical issues

Required Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of equipment/component design experience; relevant MS degree credited as 2 years, PhD as 4 years
• Experience in structural equipment design, seismic design, and finite element stress analysis
• Familiarity with CAD; SolidWorks preferred
• Working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III preferred
