Senior Mechanical Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their MEP team in a remote capacity within the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop budget estimates through accurate quantity take-offs and review project documents
• Build unit costs based on labor and material rates and nurture subcontractor/vendor relationships
• Evaluate change orders, assist in cost management processes, and participate in risk and value management exercises

Required Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
• More than 7 years of experience in mechanical estimating post-undergraduate degree
• Preferred certification in progress such as MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE, or equivalent
• Understanding of cost management fundamentals and construction industry practices
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
