Senior Mechanical Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their MEP team in a remote capacity within the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop budget estimates through accurate quantity take-offs and scope interpretation
• Build unit costs based on labor and material rate structures while understanding local market conditions
• Evaluate change orders and assist with continuous cost management processes

Required Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Experience: More than 7 years' experience in mechanical estimating post-undergraduate degree
• Preferred Certification: Working towards Professional Certification - MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of the construction industry and cost-estimating methods
• Ability to adapt to varied work situations and manage multiple tasks efficiently
