Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Job Summary

To support a collaborative team, the remote Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer will develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules while delivering innovative HVAC design solutions for advanced facilities, ensuring project success through effective communication and multi-tasking.

Key responsibilities

• Developing overall conceptual and basis of design level documentation for HVAC and plant utility systems
• Performing construction assistance, including submittal reviews and field visits, to verify execution of mechanical utilities scope
• Managing and developing mechanical/utilities scope for project budgets and schedules while maintaining client relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• At least 10 years of related experience, specifically in pharmaceutical facility design including cGMP manufacturing facilities
• Professional Engineer (PE) License highly preferred
• Knowledge of building load calculation software and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other 3D design tools
• Central Utility Plant design experience, including large chilled water systems and steam boiler systems
