Senior Mechatronics Controls Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Mechatronics Controls Engineer, this remote position will be responsible for developing integrated controls and mechatronic architecture for next-generation manufacturing systems, bridging high-level robotic theory with practical execution.
Key responsibilities
- Architect complex, high-performance robotic and electromechanical systems from concept to production
- Design and develop robust control software packages for robotic and controls equipment
- Lead the full project lifecycle, including managing automation equipment providers and overseeing Factory/Site Acceptance Testing
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in high-volume, precision manufacturing, automation, or robotics
- B.S./M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Electrical, Robotics, or related engineering discipline
- Substantial experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems
- Proficiency in robot programming and offline simulation
- Strong backend programming skills in C++/Python with a deep understanding of robotic kinematics and motion control
