Job Summary
To support Medicaid and CHIP program development, the remote-eligible Senior Medicaid Policy Researcher will lead multidisciplinary teams, engage with state and federal clients, and provide consulting services to enhance health policy and reimbursement strategies.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct multidisciplinary teams to deliver technical assistance and implementation support for federal and state Medicaid projects
- Provide consulting services and develop new health policies while advising on submissions to CMS and negotiating new programs
- Engage with clients to identify challenges and collaboratively develop innovative solutions in the Medicaid and CHIP areas
Required qualifications:
- At least 10 years (Senior Researcher) or 15 years (Principal Researcher) of experience in Medicaid leadership and stakeholder collaboration
- Master's or doctoral degree in data analytics, public health, public policy, economics, or a related field
- Strong foundation in quantitative and qualitative methods with a broad understanding of health policy issues
- Demonstrated project leadership and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Proven track record of producing high-quality deliverables and a commitment to excellence in research and policy development
