Senior Medical Coder Certification Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Ambulatory Medical Coder Edits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify appropriate assignments of CPT and ICD-10 Edits for Professional Services following coding guidelines
• Analyze and correct CCI Edits and Medical Necessity accounts
• Provide documentation feedback to providers and maintain up-to-date coding knowledge

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
• 2+ years of Professional/Ambulatory coding experience
• 1+ years of experience with LCD, NCD, and coding payer denials
• Expert level proficiency in CPT and ICD-10-CM coding
