Senior Medical Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Consultant to support a leading organization within the pharmaceutical research and drug development industry for a remote 12-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine medical strategies that support program goals across assigned therapeutic areas
• Provide expert input on study framework, including endpoints, patient selection criteria, dosing plans, and safety oversight structure
• Engage externally with investigators, advisors, and clinical experts to support study planning and evidence generation

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with training in internal medicine, neurology, or a related subspecialty
• Industry experience contributing to clinical development programs and regulatory interactions
• Ability to integrate clinical insights, statistical findings, and regulatory considerations to shape program direction
• Experience interacting with external clinical experts and interpreting complex clinical datasets
