Senior Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the benefit/risk safety profile of allocated products throughout the product lifecycle
• Lead the management of safety concerns for developmental and approved products
• Chair safety management team meetings, represent the team in company safety committee meetings, and provide input to external safety monitoring committees

Required Qualifications:

• MD degree with accredited residency and 6+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience in clinical research and development
• Accredited fellowship with 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant therapeutic area specialty preferred
• Prior experience as a product safety physician and knowledge of global regulatory requirements for pharmacovigilance
• Experience with regulatory agency and key opinion leader interactions
