Senior Medical Director, Global Safety

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Director, Global Safety specializing in obesity and related conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish strategy and direction for global safety activities related to obesity products
• Accountable for safety submissions and regulatory deliverables, including Safety sections of NDA submissions
• Lead and manage a team of Safety Directors and Global Safety Professionals

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 5 years of Global Drug Safety experience, or a Master's degree with 9 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 11 years of relevant experience
• At least 5 years of experience in people management or leadership roles
• Fluent knowledge of the obesity and related condition landscape
• Medical Doctorate and board certification preferred
• Experience in fast-paced environments and people management
