Senior Medical Director Oncology

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Clinical Development Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and initiate study protocols and documentation in compliance with regulations and good medical practices
• Act as medical monitor for company-sponsored trials and support project teams with therapeutic area-specific information
• Analyze and interpret clinical trial data, preparing reports for regulatory agencies and publications

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• MD required, with a minimum of 8 years of post-residency experience
• Experience in drug development within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• Hands-on experience in designing, executing, and reporting controlled clinical trials in oncology
• Understanding of basic science relevant to clinical oncology, such as biochemistry and molecular biology
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional/matrix environment
