Senior Medical Economics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Analyst, Medical Economics.

Key Responsibilities

• Extracts and analyzes data to support executive decision-making and identify trends related to medical care costs
• Collaborates with various teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and medical interventions
• Designs reports to monitor health plan performance and leads projects to develop financial models for provider reimbursement changes

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of health care analytics and/or medical economics experience or equivalent education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, health care management, or related field
• Demonstrated understanding of Medicaid and Medicare programs or other health care plans
• Experience in building dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau
• Knowledge of health care financial terms and coding systems utilized in medical billing
