Senior Medical Economics Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzing medical costs and projecting financial outcomes, the full-time remote Senior Medical Economics Analyst will lead initiatives to support Total Cost of Care goals while collaborating with leadership and other analytic teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct complex analytical projects to research medical cost drivers and develop detailed reports and dashboards
• Engage with market management and medical leadership to discuss cost mitigation opportunities and insights
• Build relationships with operational leaders across various teams to guide innovation and improve departmental programs

Required qualifications

• College degree in a STEM field such as Economics, Actuarial Science, or Health Services Research
• 3+ years of relevant quantitative analysis experience
• Strong understanding of health insurance concepts and data sources
• Demonstrated knowledge of managed care and provider reimbursement policies
• Progress towards Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) is a plus
