Senior Medical Economics Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzing medical costs and projecting financial outcomes, the full-time remote Senior Medical Economics Analyst will collaborate with leadership and analytic teams to support initiatives aimed at cost savings and Total Cost of Care goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform complex analytical projects to research medical cost drivers and develop detailed reports and presentations
• Engage with market management and medical leadership to discuss cost mitigation opportunities
• Build relationships with operational leaders and contribute to department programs focused on innovation and automation

Required qualifications:

• College degree in a STEM field such as Economics, Actuarial Science, or Health Informatics
• 3+ years of relevant quantitative analysis experience
• Strong understanding of health insurance concepts and managed care
• Demonstrated knowledge of provider reimbursement policies related to medical claims costs
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) is a plus
