Job Summary
To optimize organizational performance under CMS total cost of care models, the full-time Senior Medical Economics Analyst will analyze Medicare risk models, manage data analytics, and create business intelligence reports while working remotely with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain risk-adjusted provider group performance models using CMS-HCC methodology
- Process and analyze large healthcare datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Create analytical reports and executive dashboards that translate complex findings into actionable insights
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or related quantitative field
- 3-5 years of data analytics experience, preferably in healthcare or Medicare-focused environments
- Thorough understanding of Medicare risk adjustment and CMS-HCC models
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong SQL skills
- Experience integrating EHR data with claims datasets for comprehensive population health analysis
