Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread print and digital materials for grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards including AMA, client, and FDA guidelines
• Maintain brand style sheets and mentor associate editors while participating in team meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or health sciences
• 3-5 years of professional medical editing experience, including fact-checking
• Experience in a pharmaceutical advertising agency is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the AMA Manual of Style and familiarity with FDA guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; experience with online review platforms is a plus
