Job Summary

To support the development of innovative educational content, the remote Senior Medical Editor will oversee the Basic Science print and digital titles, manage high-profile author teams, and adapt product strategies to meet the needs of today's students.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for Basic Science titles and oversee the Lange Q&A Series
• Establish key contacts in the basic sciences for feedback on trends and student behavior
• Implement a revision plan for core titles and propose new projects based on market demands

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7-10+ years of experience in editorial content development, preferably in medical publishing
• Proven ability to manage author teams and lead product development initiatives
• Strong business negotiation and partner management skills
• Excellent project management capabilities, including cross-functional collaboration
• Advanced digital skills, including proficiency with CRM platforms like Salesforce.com
