Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Senior Medical Editor will manage the content review process, ensuring high editorial quality for pharmaceutical marketing materials while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to AMA style and client guidelines
- Collaborate with authors and account management to facilitate content revisions and project completion
- Develop and maintain editorial style guides and mentor department staff as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or a related field
- 5+ years of editing experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Thorough knowledge of AMA (11th edition) style
- Experience in editing both print and digital materials
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Professional
