Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Medical Editor, this full-time position will manage editorial services including medical editing, copyediting, proofreading, and fact-checking for pharmaceutical advertising materials and corporate communications, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Edit content for clarity, accuracy, tone, and compliance with client requirements
• Fact-check materials to ensure accurate support for claims and participate in the content review process
• Train and mentor junior team members while leading team initiatives to uphold quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience
• 5+ years of editing experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry
• Thorough knowledge of AMA (10th edition) style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Ability to understand medical/scientific terminology
• Proven experience managing rapidly shifting priorities in high-pressure situations
