Seeking a sharp and organized professional, the full-time Senior Medical Editor will manage editorial services including medical editing, copyediting, and proofreading for pharmaceutical advertising materials while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Edit content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand messaging and style guidelines
• Participate in the content review process, ensuring accuracy through fact-checking and referencing
• Lead project launches and mentor junior team members while coordinating with various departments to prioritize tasks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience
• 5+ years of editing experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency
• Thorough knowledge of current AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Proven ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in high-pressure situations
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
