Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Medical Editor, the full-time position will manage editorial services including medical editing, copyediting, and fact-checking for pharmaceutical advertising materials, while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and adherence to style guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread various pharmaceutical materials for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with AMA style
• Participate in the content review process, ensuring factual accuracy and appropriate referencing
• Lead editorial projects and support the onboarding of new team members while managing multiple competing deadlines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience
• 5+ years of editing experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency
• Thorough knowledge of current AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Demonstrated experience with medical terminology and regulatory reviews
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
