Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional, the full-time Senior Medical Editor will manage editorial services including medical editing, copyediting, and fact-checking for pharmaceutical advertising materials while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread materials for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with style guidelines
• Manage multiple brand tasks with competing deadlines and coordinate with team members to ensure project completion
• Onboard and mentor junior team members, while representing the Editorial department in internal meetings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience
• 5+ years of editing experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency
• Thorough knowledge of AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Proven ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in high-pressure situations
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
