Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Medical Editor, the full-time position will manage the editing, proofreading, and fact-checking of pharmaceutical advertising materials while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread medical content for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with style guidelines
• Participate in the content review process and manage multiple brand tasks with competing deadlines
• Onboard and mentor junior team members while representing the Editorial department in meetings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience
• 5+ years of editing experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising environment
• Thorough knowledge of AMA style and familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
• Proven ability to manage rapidly shifting priorities in high-pressure situations
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
