Job Summary
Working remotely on a freelance basis, the Senior Medical Editor will lead the editing of marketing materials for regulatory compliance and quality, ensuring alignment with FDA guidelines and brand standards while managing multiple projects.
Key responsibilities
- Edit and ensure regulatory compliance for marketing materials aimed at healthcare professionals and patients
- Fact check and proof existing copy for adaptation to new channels and audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and designers, to maintain brand alignment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, or life sciences with 5+ years of editing experience in pharmaceutical promotional materials
- Portfolio showcasing medical/pharma writing experience
- Experience with Veeva for job preparation and submission
- Familiarity with various therapeutic areas and product launches is a plus
