Senior Medical Records Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis during evening shifts, the Senior Medical Records Specialist will process release of information (ROI) requests, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and delivering exceptional customer service while safeguarding patient privacy.
Key responsibilities:
- Process ROI requests accurately and in a timely manner according to established procedures
- Validate requests and authorizations for medical record releases based on company policy and legal guidelines
- Deliver outstanding customer service by proactively addressing client needs and concerns
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years' ROI fulfillment experience with Sharecare HDS or 3 years' of external ROI experience
- Advanced knowledge of multiple EMR platforms and ROI request types
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
