Job Summary

To support aspiring medical students, the part-time remote Senior Medical School Admissions Consultant will guide applicants through the admissions process, helping them develop application strategies, refine personal statements, and prepare for interviews.

Key responsibilities

• Work with prospective medical school candidates to enhance their profiles and draft compelling application documents
• Manage relationships with applicants and families, providing strategic guidance on school selection and the overall admissions process
• Identify suitable medical programs and schools for students, offering feedback on their research and aligning options with their goals

Required qualifications

• Experience serving on a medical school admissions committee or board
• Completed an MD or DO degree
• 5-7 years of experience in education, coaching, or medical school admissions consulting
• A passion for coaching and mentoring students
• Strong planning and organizational skills
