Job Summary
Supporting the Thoracic Global Medical Affairs Team, the full-time remote Senior Medical Scientist will develop and execute global medical affairs strategies, lead scientific advisory boards, and enhance stakeholder engagement in the field of thoracic oncology, particularly focusing on small cell lung cancer.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the global medical affairs strategy for thoracic oncology
- Lead the implementation of scientific advisory boards to inform clinical development and global launch planning
- Monitor emerging scientific data and treatment paradigms to identify opportunities and risks in thoracic oncology
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree with 2 years of medical affairs experience, or equivalent experience with a Master's, Bachelor's, Associate's degree, or high school diploma
- 2+ years of clinical and/or basic science research experience in oncology, ideally within thoracic oncology
- Experience with thoracic malignancies, including SCLC and NSCLC
- Familiarity with clinical research concepts and global oncology clinical studies
- Strong understanding of scientific methods and clinical applications in a medical affairs context
