Job Summary
Supporting the Genitourinary Global Medical Affairs Team, the full-time remote Senior Medical Scientist - Oncology will contribute to the development and execution of medical strategies focused on prostate cancer and engage with external stakeholders to enhance scientific exchange.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute global medical affairs strategies, including medical insight generation and actionable activities in genitourinary oncology
- Lead scientific advisory boards and Executive Advisory Councils to inform clinical development and global launch planning
- Monitor emerging scientific data and treatment paradigms in genitourinary oncology to identify opportunities and risks
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree (PhD, MD/DO, or PharmD) with 2+ years of Medical Affairs experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 6 years, or an Associate's degree with 10 years, or a high school diploma with 12 years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
- 2+ years of clinical and/or basic science research experience in oncology, ideally within genitourinary oncology
- Experience with genitourinary malignancies, including prostate cancers and targeted therapies
- Familiarity with clinical research concepts, clinical trial design, and real-world evidence
- Strong strategic vision and ability to adapt to changes in the oncology treatment landscape
