Senior Medical Scientist - Oncology
Job Summary
To support the US medical strategy for the thoracic oncology portfolio, the full-time remote Senior Medical Scientist - Oncology will serve as a key medical reviewer and scientific expert, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of medical materials while collaborating with cross-functional teams on product strategies and evidence generation.
Key responsibilities
- Support the US medical strategy and launch preparation for thoracic oncology products in collaboration with various teams
- Provide strategic input on the US treatment landscape and product improvement strategies to accelerate innovative pipeline development
- Develop a comprehensive US medical plan for SCLC pipeline products, focusing on stakeholder management and scientific communications
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, or equivalent experience with a Master's, Bachelor's, Associate's, or high school diploma
- Preferred MD with an accredited fellowship in Hematology-Oncology, board certified or board eligible
- 2+ years of Medical Affairs and/or clinical research experience in Hematology-Oncology
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and interactions, particularly in the thoracic tumor field
- Familiarity with clinical research concepts, trial design, and biostatistics
