Senior Medical Scientist - Rare Disease

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Global Safety Physician, Senior Medical Scientist specializing in Rare Disease.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct safety monitoring and execute product-related safety decisions for assigned products
• Review and provide input on clinical study-related documents and aggregate reports
• Prepare safety assessment reports and collaborate on risk management plans

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preferred MD, DO, or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school
• Experience in clinical/medical research and product safety in the bio/pharmaceutical industry
• Previous management or mentoring experience is preferred
• Experience in leading teams or projects is advantageous
